Ready to get your Pointing Breed Hunt Test or Field Trial up and running on PerfDog?

Here's a quick guide to walk you through the setup process.

Before You Begin:

  • Make sure you're signed in to PerfDog. Use the same email address associated with your AKC account.

Let's Get Started!

  1. Head to the "Events" Link: On the PerfDog homepage, click the "Events" link.

  2. Find Your Event: Use the search bar to locate the specific Pointing Breed Hunt Test or Field Trial you'll be managing.

    • Can't find it? Wrong info? Check and fix it at AKC. Still wrong? Contact us)

  3. Make it Manageable: Once you find your event, click on it. If you are recorded as a Chairperson or Secretary of the event, you'll see a message. Click the option labeled "Yes, make it managed" to activate its full administrative features.

    • Make sure you're signed in with the same email the AKC has as administrator.

  4. Understanding Management: Briefly review the information about PerfDog's event management functionalities.

  5. Agree to Assertions: Read and agree to the terms and conditions for using PerfDog's management tools.

  6. Let's Do It!: Click the button "Let's do it!" to officially begin setting up your event.
