Premium rejected for not having the right judges?
Updated over a year ago

If your Premium List is rejected for not having the right judges, you can fix it and upload your Premium again. You can also approve it anyway and accept responsibility for any errors.

  • One reason could be that you have a judge who hasn't been AKC approved yet for your event. This means that PerfDog doesn't have that judge's info in its system and can't match it to your Premium. In this case, you'll need to make sure the judge is added to the stake in Setup > Judges and Volunteers. Then try to upload your Premium List again.

  • Another reason could be that the judge's info we have from the AKC does not exactly match the name on your Premium List. Our Premium List reviewer does check for nicknames, shortened names, and typos, but we may have missed some. Robert Smith at AKC could be listed as Bob Smith in your Premium List and that judge could be rejected in our premium reviewer.

How can you fix it?

1. Find the discrepancy and correct it. Our premium reviewer tells you what's wrong.

2. Add a nickname to a judge's profile. Suppose his name is Bob/Robert.

  • Find Bob's profile in PerfDog by going to Manage > Manage people. Type in his name to search for him.

  • Edit his name: Keep Robert as his first name and add Bob as his nickname, then save his profile.

  • This should fix the problem because our premium reviewer will approve both Robert Smith and Bob Smith.
