The Catalog is the document you'll print, take to your event, and use to record the placements in your trial. Then, you can send it to the AKC.
Note that the Catalog is in the same order as the bracing sheet and is available to print after you lock your Running Order.
The Catalog is located in Manage Catalog in the Manage section of your event administration page. We recommend using the One stake at a time option when printing.
If you'll have a printer, laptop, and internet hotspot at the event and you’re interested in hearing about how to print reports for judges to sign after the placements come back to you, see Field Trial Printed Report for Judges to sign (can use in place of pre-printed Catalog).
Using the Catalog
These instructions are printed with the Catalog for easy reference during your field trial.
Mark the placement number in the boxes to the left of the appropriate dogs for each stake. If a placement is withheld, you may note that on the judges’ certification page.
IF THERE ARE NO AWARDS OF MERIT, write “None” on all of the Award of Merit pages. Don’t remove AOM pages; they’re included in the page count. You can instead mark a big X on the page to indicate no AOM before presenting to the judges to sign.
Complete the number of starters in each stake.
Complete the number of each breed started in each stake.
Complete the dogs who win Awards of Merit. See (2) above if no dogs are awarded.
Have the judges sign the certification page for each stake and initial appropriate pages.
Secretary should sign each stake’s certification page.
See AKC reports - Judges’ book & Secretary report to learn about the other documents you should send to the AKC with your marked and signed Catalog.
See Field Trial Printed Report for Judges to sign (can use in place of pre-printed Catalog) if you have a laptop and portable printer and will have internet or a hot spot at your event. You can enter your results into PerfDog and print reports on site for judges' signatures.
