When to use Replace or Swap
Event administrators can use the Replace feature to replace or swap a dog within the same level or stake. When might this happen?
When an entered dog gets injured
When an entered bitch comes into season
When an entrant mistakenly enters the wrong dog in your event or activity
When a professional handler wants to substitute a dog in the same level or stake
Anytime someone wants to swap one dog for another in the same level of an event or activity
As an administrator, you can do this so that it's free of charge for the entrant.
How to replace or swap a dog
Go to Manage entries, then choose Replace dog.
2. View the list of entrants/handlers that appear below the instructions.
3. Click the plus icon to the left of the entrant's name to see which dogs are entered under each entrant/handler, and then which levels/stakes the dog is in.
4. Choose a dog or the specific level/stake by clicking the box to the left of the dog or level, then click the blue button to continue. You can replace a dog entirely or only in specific levels/stakes.
5. On the next screen, click on the field in the Replacement dog box and choose the dog that will replace the current dog.
6. If there's an issue with the newly chosen dog, you'll get a pop up like this:
7. If there's no problem with the new dog, the dog will appear in the Replacement dog box under "Selected replacement dog."
Click the blue Replace dog button to complete the swap.
