Questions about who can edit your Free Club Website at PerfDog?

Our default settings allow the following people within a club to initially access a club website. We refer to any of these individuals as "Officals":

  • Board members (recorded with AKC)

  • Legislative liaison (recorded with AKC)

  • Breeder Referral Contact (recorded with AKC)

  • Anyone who has been a Chair or Secretary of a past event for the Club

  • Anyone who is recorded with the AKC as a current Club Officer or as a contact for the Club

We strive to make it easy to begin using your free website, but it's also important that we keep it secure. Anyone who is an "Official" with your club and signs in to PerfDog with the email address on file with the AKC can access your Club's website. We send them a code to verify their identity.

To see who has access to your club's website, turn on Membership Management (you can turn it back off afterwards) and then scroll to see Club Officials and Admin Permissions. These permissions can be edited and individuals can be removed. If there's a specific permission in the drop-down that you'd like to see added, feel free to contact us and we'll get it added!
