Our event notification feature lets secretaries and other event volunteers send text message updates during their event so that they can keep everyone in the loop.

Notifications can be received by email or text message - the recipient gets to choose.


Messages to entrants

Below are a couple of examples of text messages that entrants could receive from an event volunteer.

The "From" field will contain the name of the club volunteer who is sending the update.


What secretaries can send

Secretaries and other event volunteers can send two different types of notifications:

1. Report an update - a status update includes:

  • stake or level

  • brace or team

  • status of brace or team (at the line, coming in, cancelled)

2. Custom messages to specific people or groups of people.

Tip: Use this to send a message to all (or a portion) of the event volunteers when it's time to take a lunch break or gunners need more birds, or for other custom messages.
