Cancel an entry after the close

This guide is for event administrators. We'll walk you through canceling an entry after an event has closed.

1. Click "Manage entries"

From your event page choose Manage then click Manage entries

4. Locate specific entries for a dog or person

You can find specific entries for a dog or person by clicking the plus sign to the left of an entrant.

7. Click the blue "Cancel" button

To cancel an entry click the blue cancel button next to the corresponding entry or click either of the blue buttons above or below the list of entries.

Clicking the blue "Confirm cancellation" button will cancel all entries currently listed on this page. This event is closed. So the allow refund box is unchecked by default. Many dog clubs have a policy of not offering refunds for canceled entries. However, you can still choose to issue refunds for any entries by clicking allow refund.

10. Click "Allow refund?"

If you click the "Allow refund?" box, the "Refund now?" box will appear.

13. Convert credits to a refund?

Clicking "Allow refund?" will give the entrant a credit within PerfDog. To refund their credit, including any past credits on their account, click the box under "Refund Now?" Note that entrants can easily view their credits and request a refund from PerfDog at any time.

14. "Confirm cancellation (can't be undone)."

When you're ready to cancel the entry click confirm cancellation. Note that this cannot be undone. You'll see a green confirmation message at the very top of your screen.
