This article describes how to enter your dog in an event at PerfDog.
Clubs that are taking event entries through PerfDog are using PerfDog's online event software tools to run their event. The club will mention that they are using PerfDog in their flyer or Premium List and their event will appear on PerfDog's home page.

Find an event
Events are located on PerfDog's home page, or via the Events link in the top menu bar.
When you find an event, select it to see details about the event, including location, stakes or levels, entry fees, and the event's flyer or Premium List.
To enter an event, click the Enter now! button from the event's info page.
Introduction
Gather your dog's registration info and your credit card in order to enter your dog in the event.
You
Enter your contact information.
Your Nickname will be shown on running orders. If your name is Robert but you go by Bob, type Bob in the Nickname field.
If you share an email address with another person, they will not be able to use that email address to create a PerfDog account. PerfDog uses email addresses as individual sign in ID's for each user in the system, so two people cannot have two accounts with the same email address.
Click Next: Stakes to continue. If you have not added dogs to your profile, you'll instead be prompted to go to the Dogs screen.
Dogs
If you haven't added dogs to your profile, you'll add them next. This article is helpful if you have questions about adding dogs: Add a dog to My Dogs
Click Next: Stakes to choose the Stakes or Levels to enter.
Entering Stakes/Levels/Classes
Select the dog you want to enter in the event. Once you choose a dog, the page will expand with the stakes or levels available for entry.

Choosing Handlers
You can choose different handlers for different stakes and also choose alternate handlers for stakes. See this article for more information about adding new handlers and alternate handlers: Handlers and alternate handlers
Notes for the Secretary
Leave a note for the Secretary about your dog (or their entry) in the Secretary Notes box.
Enter another dog?
Choose Yes or No if you want to enter another dog.
After you're finished, click Review.
Review
Review your entry. Then, click Update cart.
Shopping Cart
Choose the Click to pay button on this screen.
Payment
After you agree to disclosures, you can choose to pay with a:
Credit card or
Check, if you mail it in with a paper entry form
ℹ️ Note: We use Stripe for credit card processing. PerfDog does not save credit card info on our site.
Confirmation
After you complete your credit card payment, you should see a confirmation screen, followed by entry and payment confirmation emails in your inbox.
We recommend adding [email protected] to your contacts list in your email program so that our confirmation emails don’t go to your junk or spam folder by mistake.
