Occasionally, you may need to cancel a stake or level within your event due to insufficient entries or other unforeseen circumstances. This guide outlines the process for canceling a stake, emphasizing your control over entry refunds.

Entry Cancellation First: Before deleting a stake, you must cancel all associated entries.
Refund Control: You decide whether entrants receive a refund or site credit. Carefully review the refund options during the cancellation process.
Post-Closure Cancellation: You can manage cancellations and refunds both before and after the event's registration closes.
Procedure:
1. Cancel All Entries within the Stake:
Navigate to the Manage section of your event and select "Manage Entries."
Choose "Cancel"
Locate the entries associated with the stake you wish to cancel.
For each entry, initiate the cancellation process.
Refund Options:
Site Credit (Default): The cancellation will result in a site credit for the entrant.
Immediate Refund: To issue an immediate refund, check the "Refund now" box on the cancellation screen.
Important: Double-check your refund selection for each cancellation.

2. Delete the Stake:
Go to the "Setup" section of your event, then select "Stakes."
Click the "Unlock Stakes" button.
Locate the stake you want to delete and select it by clicking the round button next to it.
Click the blue "Remove" button.
Confirm the removal of the stake.
Click "Lock Stakes" to finalize the changes.
