Granting Early and Late Registration Access to Specific People
As an event admin, you have the ability to control who can register for your event and when they can do so. This is especially useful for events that have VIPs or volunteers who need early access, or for those who may have missed the registration deadline and need late entry. In this article, we will explain how to grant early and late registration access to specific people.
Early Entry
If you have certain individuals who need to register for your event before it opens to the public, you can grant them early entry. This is a great option for VIPs or volunteers who may need to secure their spot before the general public.
It's important to note that early entry is only available until the event opens to the public. You can set or edit your opening date and time in Basics info, under Setup.
Late Entry
If someone has missed the registration deadline for your event, you can still grant them access to register.
How to grant early or late entry:
During event set up, you can allow specific people to enter early or late.
Search or Add Users: Type the name or email address of the person you want to grant access to in the "Search or enter new name" field. Select "Add" in the dropdown if the person does not appear in the list.
Assign Permissions: Next to the user's name, select the appropriate permission from the dropdown menu under "Permission."
Viewing User Emails:
To see the email address associated with a specific permission, simply click on the person's name. This is the email address they'll need to use to sign in (or sign up) and access the event.
By granting early and late registration access to specific people, you can ensure that your event runs smoothly and that all necessary individuals are able to register on time.
